This is going to be the simplest recipe you’ll ever make and totally worth it. Although there are so many clean, nutrient dense brands selling kale chips out there, I am yet to find one without added cane sugar. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing since it’s true cane sugar, very small amounts, and not refined, but I would still much rather make my own that doesn’t include it.
This is the crunchy, cheezy, savory, paleo snack you’ve been dreaming of. Like many of my recipes, I used an unknown amount of kale, so this is best made starting with light seasoning and gradually adding more after a few taste tests based on your flavor preference. Let’s get into it!
-Fresh organic Kale
-Himalayan Pink Salt
-Step #1: preheat your oven to 350° F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
-Step #2: wash your kale and place in mixing bowl large enough to accommodate your amount of kale.
-Step #3: toss with a small amount of avocado oil (just enough to cost lightly), and add in nutritional yeast and Himalayan pink salt. (For reference, I used a guesstimate of 5oz of kale, 2 TBSP of nutritional yeast, and 1/2 tsp of Himalayan pink salt)
Step #4: place in oven and cook until crisp (mine took around 25 minutes, but many people say there’s only takes around 6-10, so keep an eye out).
