You heard me right...AIP BBQ sauce!! Nightshade free which includes a traditional BBQ sauce main ingredient: tomatoes! I didn't know it was possible, but it was and it has completely altered the way I cook. This is the sauce that I used for my pizza post, but can be used for sooo much more. I dip my fries in this (recipe to come), use it as a sauce for wraps, as a marinade, and so on. And the best part... I have shared this with numerous non-paleo friends that LOVE it!
-3 TBSP Apple Cider Vinegar
-2 TBSP Balsamic Vingerette
-1 TBSP Coconut Oil
-1 TBSP Molasses
-1/3 Cup Maple Syrup
-3 Cloves of Garlic
-1 TSP Salt
-1 TBSP Coconut Aminos
-1 TSP Ginger (fresh or powdered)
Step #1: In a saucepan on medium heat, sautéed garlic and ginger in coconut oil.
Step #2: Add in remaining ingredients until well combined.
Step #3: Let cool and place in air-tight container in fridge for later use.
