Remember those Welch's Fruit snacks that we thought were really healthy, because they were "fruit snacks?" Yeah. Healthy if corn syrup and artificial flavors are a fruit. When I finally gave up grains and sugar, my gummy craving persisted and I had to do something about it.
Not only are these gummies a GREAT way to get in your gelatin throughout the day, but they are super satisfying and addictive. This was such a throwback for me to the days when I would buy a bag of these things and literally eat the whole thing in one sitting. P.S. also GREAT movie theater snacks. Okay, let's get into it:
-1 Cup High Quality Gelatin (I use this brand)
-3 Cups Juice of Choice (I LOVE organic 100% grape juice)
-3/4 Cup Honey
Step #1: Mix all ingredients and allow to sit for 5 minutes (can be done in skillet)
Step #2: Turn on burner and melt on low-medium heat until gelatin is thoroughly mixed.
Step #4: Use dropper to fill silicone trays.
Step #5 Place in freezer for 5-10 minutes. Pop out and enjoy!
